A: Hello Carolyn. Sensodyne Clinical White Enamel Strengthening Toothpaste contains water. It is normal for toothpastes containing water to not have a foil seal because foil is used to minimize discoloring or hardening of the toothpaste prior to being opened for the first time.

Aluminium oxide (Alumina) is present in Sensodyne Clinical White Enamel Strengthening toothpaste as an abrasive, owing to its excellent properties as a cleaning, smoothing and polishing ingredient. Alumina has a long safe history of use in toothpastes and there are no known safety concerns regarding its use, provided the product is used as directed.

It does a great job keeping my teeth clean and bright without it being too harsh on my gums. Theres the added bonus of enamel protection - too early to see its effects but I’m sure they will be promising!

It meets all my needs; strengthens my enamel, whitens my teeth, doesn’t hurt my sensitive teeth, and isn’t painfully minty! Now, I’m not gunna sit here and lie to you and tell you it makes your teeth super white only after one use, because it won’t, but it DOES work. After your first couple uses you’ll definitely notice a slight difference in color, but after a few weeks you’ll notice a whole bunch of color change! Your teeth will be whiter and stronger! Just gotta trust the process. ALSO, if your teeth are super sensitive like mine, this toothpaste definitely helps with that and it isn’t painfully minty where it’s unbearable, it’s the perfect amount of minty. So i definitely recommend this to all of you who have sensitive teeth or if you just wanna protect, prevent, and whiten, because who doesn’t? TRY IT !

Why’s it so spicy- seriously :(

The burn and horrible taste of this mint was too overwhelming, I spit it out in the first 20 seconds of brushing. However, I still give this 3 stars because my brother was able to use it and he says it does help with his teeth sensitivity. He doesn’t mind the flavor or intensity of the toothpaste, but doesn’t enjoy it either.

Teeth weren’t any whiter after a month
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sensodyne is the best for tooth sensitivity and for that it is an excellent product- however, I almost went through the whole tube in a month and my teeth are not any brighter or whiter. If anything, the more recent picture looks more yellow, which is interesting. While my cold sensitivity has all but disappeared, I was hoping my teeth would be a little whiter. I still love the brand and will continue to use it, regardless. I received this complimentary in exchange for my honest review.
