Q: This seem to be a great sensitive body lotion! However, the number 3 ingredients petrolatum is highly irritating to sensitive skin which in my experience nullified the title. Can it be removed?

A: Almost all lotions have petroleum jelly in them!!  Aquaphor ( even the kind for babies) that’s exactly what it is, look at the ingredient list!!!!!!

It is inert, it doesn’t change in the skin nor does it bind to proteins. It is one of the most effective, safe, tested & proven treatments in the world for skin irritation, moisture retention & healing (including post surgical) It is the base of countless pharmaceutical treatments which have much stricter regulations than cosmetics.

A: This lotion has saved my facial rashes related to rosacea and eczema! I thought I had seborrheic dermatitis but my skin was severely dehydrated and this has been the biggest game changer! I’ve tried so many things including just Vaseline, dieux products, Prequel Lotion and others and this worked better than all combined!

I have very sensitive skin. I got it on a whim and I am very glad I did. I can’t do any fragrance at all. There is a slight smell when you first get it out of the bottle, but it doesn’t last or make me smell funny. It left my dry/sensitive skin very soft and not irritated! Will buy again! Product good but defective bottle.
I always liked the Target Brand in lieu of the Vaseline Intensive Care lotion simply because they felt the same to me and the Target Brand seemed identical. I was hesitant that the may have changed the formula because of the bottle change BUT the formula remained the same (YAY). Sadly, a few weeks later I saw a blob behind the bottle and thought that I had unknowingly hit the bottle and caused it to squirt onto the vanity. ..............well, a couple of weeks later I saw it again! Checked out the bottle and see that as I pump out cream it leaks backwards and when enough accumulates it drops to the vanity. WHAT A WASTE!!! Now Target has always been good at standing behind it's products but after all this time, I had my doubts and in truth never called them or went online to seek a refund. I truly just want them to be aware of this issue and stop making changes to something that works because this is what happens.

They left out the “I” in isopropyl palmitate in the online ingredient description, a known pore clogger to convince you to buy. Don’t! Major pore clogger. Check the labels before you take the product home. Checking the online description is not enough. Very misleading.

This lotion does not absorb as well as the ultra healing lotion they used to make under this brand. Additionally, this “fragrance free” lotion actually smells like sourdough bread, so if you want to smell like bread, I advise you to buy. I myself am not enamored with smelling like sourdough.

i have bought close to 20 different body lotions from target over the years and this is my perfect lotion. it keeps my skin hydrated for days, it doesn’t irritate my skin even after shaving, and it’s cheap! if target ever discontinues this formula, i don’t know what i would do
