Held off from getting a good paddle until now!

A great paddle! First one I bought that was quality. What a difference it has made. It’s really lightweight and has good grip for spinning. Took a minute to get used to, but now I am totally enjoying it. Hopefully it will grow with me as I improve my game

Improvement?

I thought it would be an improvement over the previous Halo Control model. It wasn’t. It seems identical to me. Since I can still use my old Halo paddle, I feel like I wasted my money.

Stands behind their product

My wife and I both really like our Selkirk SLK HALO control paddle. One day while playing, a Selkirk rep started watching us play. When we were finished, he thanked us for playing with Selkirk paddles and asked to look at our paddles. He checked them over and said the paddle had a defect and we needed to return them under warranty. We had no idea the paddles had a defect they played great. But we returned them to the Sellkirk store. The person at the store checked the paddles out and traded out our paddles for brand new paddles. No question asked. Proves to me, they really stand behind their product. I recommend Selkirk highly.

I love this paddle!! I've been playing since January 2020 and have played with a lot of paddles. Takes some time to fine "the one". Comes in a variety of bright colors.

The SLK HALO Control-Max has Already Exceeded my hopes and expectations!!! As a five decade tennis player, I naturally like to drive the pickleball from the backcourt, and this paddle 'drives well'. Yet, I'm finding with the finer aspects of the game, (spin, direction, dinks, and lobs) is where this paddle is already giving me touch and feel, and Most importantly, the consistency and accuracy which IMHO, is the pickleball formula for success 👍

Fantastic paddle! I normally play with the Amped Pro Air invikta and this is a great paddle if you want more control. It doesn’t generate as much power which I like. If you have a background in other racquet sports this is a great control paddle. It is not a power paddle FYI!

Really good paddle

I’ve play at a 4.5 level. This is a really good control paddle, will good pop. Soft touch, and responsive touch. I feel directly we’re the ball is going and I don’t have surprise miss hits.

Love this paddle.

I tested so many paddles, and Selkirk was so patient with me. I kept going back to the Halo and have no regrets. It's very easy to maneuver from back hand to forehand and has great control.

SLK Halo Control XL

I thought this paddle felt okay and I really didn't like the grip. It is weirdly shaped like an oval instead of the standard hexagon or octagon. You also don't get that much power with this paddle, but the control is great. You can easily place the ball where you want it, and I think dinking is easy with it as well. I don't think my drives had that much juice to them and it was a lot harder to pass other players. Overall, I would recommend this paddle to anyone who is starting out and likes to control the ball without worry of hitting it too hard.

Awesome paddle, great price point.

I was looking to upgrade to raw carbon paddle, but not at price I was seeing for some of these paddles. Our local Selkirk Ambassador let me use SLK HALO paddle and the touch and feel of the paddle won me over. When I heard the price I was sold. Very happy with my new paddle.
