More of a coverlet than a quilt or bedspread

The Sedona Quilt is described as "oversized for better coverage on today's deeper mattresses." It is NOT oversized. On the sides of my queen bed, there is an unsightly gap of about ten inches from the edge of the quilt to the floor. This quilt would look better paired with a bedskirt -- or with a full mattress rather than a queen. Further, as the "quilt" is very thin, it seems better suited as a coverlet over a larger quilt or bedspread. For what I paid for it, I had expected something more substantial. I am happy with the colors of the quilt. It ties the whole room together!
