[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] **I received this product for free, in exchange for an honest review.** This hard drive is so compact and lightweight, it's hard to believe the 1 TV capacity! The only "drawback", if I had to provide one, is that you don't want to be too rough with it. But that's pretty universal for any tech. The connector seems like it could be easily damaged if not careful. Other than that, it's a great value for the amount of storage you get, and Seagate is a long-trusted manufacturer of hard drives.

Seagate is a reliable brand, and this particular PS5 "game drive" is not an exception to that rule. Super solidly built, well packaged, great installation instructions (don't drop that teeny tiny screw though!), and works great with the PS5 operating system - everything worked fine on the first try and we were up and running in no time. My only regret is that I wasn't able to get the 4TB version - 1TB is not at much space as you think these days thanks to some game devs (**coughactivisioncough**).

We're soo happy with the extra storage because, if you know you know, these games take up space quickl! It's a plus not having to constantly delete to make extra storage. I found this drive was pretty easy to install and it was detected by the PS5 on reboot, I got it formatted and working quickly. This has increased my PS5 storage to 2TB! Downloading and loading from it have been pretty fast. been using it for a week and it has been working great!

Now my PS5 is able to store 2TB (or roughly) worth of games! Seagate Game Drives are trustworthy. As for heat, nothing too high thanks to the included heatsink. And downloading games and loading from it have been relatively fast. Had it for almost a month and no complaints with it.
