He's such a handsome boy. Love the sculpting on the mane. Paint is a little boring, but it doesn't ruin the gorgeous sculpt. Recommend

Our Friesan family loves the Friesan breed of horses. I have purchased every Friesan horse figure from Schleich for our Grandson and this new stallion is just beautiful! In fact I purchased two so that I could have this stallion too! He looks so much like the photos that photographers have captured of this graceful horse running with its long mane and tail flowing so beautifully! Thank you for this creation!

I imagine it to be a wild horse, untamed, yet everyone has the thrill and desire for a chance at riding this beauty.

What a beautiful majestic creature! Love these horses. Made well, as always. Very detailed muscles, facial expression. What I love most is their eyes. Look into their eyes, and you really see their beauty.

After seeing several complaints from other collectors online about the drop in quality of the new material of the 2024 models I'll admit I didn't have high hopes. However I was pleasantly surprised to find that the quality of the material was nothing like as bad as I had expected. No it's not as good as the models from the 2000's but from what others had said I was expecting them to be very flexible/bendy but the Friesian at least is reasonably sturdy (the same can't be said for the new Arabian Stallion however). Again it's not as strong/solid as they used to be, but overall I don't think this is a bad model and I am very pleased with the actual sculpting of the model. I especially like how one of his ears is turned back, as though he is listening to something, It's a small but very sweet detail. I think the only thing I would have changed is his shading. Instead of him being completely solid black It would have been nice if he had some brown hues like the Friesian stallion from 2010 had, It would have just helped given him that little bit extra to make him stand out. Overall though I can say I am pleased with this model.

My 8 year old daughter discovered Schleich animals a few years ago and has amassed a large collection from our local store! We have moved and can’t find very many so being able to order direct is awesome!!

beautiful horse. the friesian is one of my daughters favorite horse breeds. we have just about any and all fresian horse schleich has made!

It's a horrible figurine, it looks cheap and it feels cheap. The body looks bloated like it's pregnant and flattened from side to side so that the whole body is super narrow. The body hair texture is like they didn't even try, it looks nothing like horse hair, just bumpy all over. If I had gotten this as a child I would have been so disappointed (Friesian is one of my favorite breeds), even as an adult I was super disappointed as soon as I saw it. I instantly knew I'd be returning it and getting my money back. If you're looking for a quality figurine, look somewhere else or buy their older models if you can find them. I don't think I'll be buying from Schleich anymore unless I see the figurine in person.

Beautiful model that really captures the elegance of the breed. Would love to be able to purchase tack and the articulated riders individually - different styles and colors, etc.
