Snakes crack.
Snake(s) cracked after minimal use. Schleich refuses to post my review. I have posted this same review at least 3 times with pictures. Each time I check to see if my review is up it is missing. Startibg to lose respect for this company even after spending at least $1,000 on products to gtow my child's collection. I simply wanted to warn others that the snakes (we have 2 sets) crack where they bend. Why offer a space to post a review if you're going to censor the reviews?

Snakes Crack/break
Bendable Anacondas Cracked. After owning 2 sets of Danger in the Swamp for about 2 years the anacondas have started cracking at the same point/underbelly. My child has over 100 Schleich pieces, so she doesn't play exclusively with these, that is, it's not a case of over use. Housed indoors, no pets/chewing. Disappointed both snakes cracked.

More than a toy
Purchased for 6-year-old grandson who loves reptiles. Great choice because figure is well-made, durable and very realistic. Size-wise it fits in with his other Schleich figures so he's able to integrate it when playing with his dinosaurs and even Eldrador creatures. I like this particular set because it encourages him to learn more about wildlife and their different habitants. So many teaching moments were open when he got this play set.

Bendable
My son loves that he can bend and manipulate the snake. Love that Schleich has added this feature. Now I'm just praying he doesn't loose the eggs that are about the size of a pencil eraser.

Snake vs. Crocodile

Creative options for play
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set is super unique and great for acting out epic nature battles. The python is huuuuge and can wrap around the gator. The alligator is amazingly detailed and has an articulated mouth which makes it super fierce when you want it to be.

Great imaginative play
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The little eggs, the adjustable nest, the snake that moves, the alligators moveable jaw. As soon as we got this all 4 of my kids (different ages and genders) played with these all together, just two of them and by themselves. These are so detailed and can I say beautiful?

Movable snake!

Moveable parts make this extra fun!
We bought this a while ago and we were super excited since my daughter's collection has only one snake. The bendable anaconda is very fun--and it has caught me by surprise more than once seeing it lying on the floor (eek!). The alligator's mouth hinges open and closed, which makes for interesting swamp scenarios. A clutch of three small eggs fits inside a hinged earth mound (which, of course, gets used to store coins, building blocks, colored light pegs, etc.). This was worth the weight :)
