I am impressed by Sambucol Black Elderberry Syrup. My family takes this supplement religiously, but we usually take it in the form of gummies. This syrup is thick and has the flavor of gummies. I got zero complaints from my three-year-old, to whom I was dreading giving this syrup. Two teaspoons are one serving, and there are 23 in one large bottle. That is not even a month's worth of this supplement for one person, so I think the bottle should be much larger. Each serving contains 3.8 grams of Black Elderberry Extract and 30 calories. It comes in a glass bottle, which is great, but the lid is plastic and so is the measuring cup on top of the bottle. I think there is probably a better way to package this environmentally. Also, it came in a two-pack which was packaged together in an additional paper board package. The bottle could be a larger size with the same amount of these two 'large-sized' separate bottles.

I love me some Sambucol! I have tried numerous products of theirs. Since Covid, Sambucol has been a staple in my home! I personally love the Original Syrup - it's yummy and let me tell you with 3 kids that are in school around other germy kids - I have not had even a cold since Dec. 2019. That's with my kids being sick & me being a servant to them while they rest LOL. I swear by this stuff!
