The EL34 is behind the classic "British" amp sound of much classic rock. Used in many Marshall, HiWatt, Orange and other amps, this true pentode power tube delivers tight mids, crisp highs and a low-end that’s punches, but doesn’t get flabby, for a the iconic rock tones of the late ’60s and early ’70s. Ruby’s exclusive large bottle with gold-plated grid has extra internal anchoring for solid performance. All Ruby power tubes are labeled with precise matching measurements for transconductance and plate current. Matching those parameters ensures long tube life and optimal performance.
