Q: Won't the metal dowels stain wet white and light colored clothes? As per item specifications they are rust resistant but NOT rust proof .

Lifesaver if Your Dryer is Broken
Of course my dryer broke right in the middle of the holiday season. It's older with a harder to find part, and we're stuck waiting for a decision from the warranty company on if it's being fixed or replaced. In the meantime, laundry is piling up. I was looking for alternatives to the laundromat given the uncertain timetable for a fix and found these types of drying rack in my search. This is a lifesaver and I really hope Target isn't discontinuing it at its only available at certain locations near me and not available to ship or be delivered. This drying rack with the combo of sturdy wood structure with steel rods seriously seems like the best design for these. I've done several loads and I'm impressed with how much laundry I can fit on the rack and also how quickly everything dries. I've been using the highest spin option in the washer, but there was one load with more delicate items where I didn't, figured it'd take a decent amount of extra time to dry. Everything still dry in a day. And it's fantastic how many are done in less time than that. Clothes, towels, washcloths, etc can all dry on this, just need to play around with spacing to maximize what you can dry at once. So thankful I found this rack and will use it to dry sweaters even when my dryer is back up and running.

This product is ok at best. The poles are stainless steel, and the frame is wood. The poles are secured to the wood with bolts. This is the primary issue with this, the bolts are constantly coming undone. You are forced to permanently leave this set up as if every time you put it away you're risking a bolt falling out and the rack falling apart. I attempted to use thread-locker and even that didn't really help. If you purchase this be aware you're going to be full-time leaving it out, set-up. It does it's job and it is good materials, but if you can find one that won't fall apart every time you fold it then I'd go with that one.

Just get it!
Have had this drying rack now for 2-3 years and it has been a staple in our home. From heavy sweatshirts, New England winter jackets to baby clothes- it has held up perfectly. From multiple uses a week, it still looks brand new. This product is very well made.

Honestly it’s kind of annoying and hard to open and close. The wood is nice but I feel like it sometimes collapses. Also this was the most difficult box ever to open seriously. Almost gave up and just brought it back, so much glue on it I was hacking away with a knife :/

Best Drying Rack Ever
I’ve had this drying rack for 3+ years and it’s amazing. My 2 roommates and I all use it and it holds up so much better than those cheap plastic drying racks. It’s literally still in perfect condition. I will have this forever probably.

Broke Quickly

Great when you glue it together
It doesn’t say to glue the screws in it if you don’t every time you use it one of the rods will unscrew and it’s a paid to do over and over again so I ended up using locktight or superglue on the screws when putting it back together. It also made it sturdier in a way and love it even more now. It’s not big enough for a regular load of laundry rather small loads for babies and kids since you’re doing laundry all the time. I also use it to dry clothes that can’t go in the dryer such as wool and even underwear. Not sponsored or given to free nor am I an influencer I bought this with my own money.
