[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I both agree that this is not that great. The texture is off and it tastes plastic like. I can see it being good in a pinch or if you need it quickly, but other than that, we will stick with regular rice and a rice cooker.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was so easy to prepare! Just rip the sides of the package open and pop in the microwave for a minute and a half. We added ours to some homemade chicken noodle soup that when we didn’t have enough noodles. It was a great addition to the soup and had good texture and flavor. I think I’ll start keeping a pouch or two on hand for when we need a quick meal.

Excellent side dish!

Actually Tastes Fresh!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first time in a long time that I have made microwave rice. I was surprised about how easy it was to open the package without getting a gust of hot smoke ( like the rice of the past). I was even more surprised at how fresh and flavorful it was! This rice has longer grains, and was perfectly steamed in the bag. It didn’t taste soggy or undercooked in the slightest. Staying true to the theme. I added a grilled chicken breast and yellow curry over the rice & ate every morsel. This rice is a great alternative for those busy days. No soaking, no rinsing, no steaming for an hour. Super convenient to keep in the pantry.

The rice breaks apart easily and is not chunky. It is nice and warm after 90 seconds. It also has healthy ingredients without all the additives. Would be perfect to stock in the pantry for another busy weeknight.

I'm kind of in shock that the rice comes out as soft and perfect as it does with only 90 seconds. We made teriyaki chicken today and decided this would be a perfect base for it. It was a nice compliment to the chicken, it both absorbed some of the teriyaki flavor as well as being delicious as is. This is an incredibly easy side to make and I'll be looking for it in my next grocery shop!

I added some seasonings to my rice to amp it up, as I usually do and this made a terrific meal. I like how the flavor can be adjusted to whatever you prefer. The amount of rice is perfect too.
