Set in textured and polished 18kt yellow gold over sterling silver. Heart charm suspends from a bead chain with a 2" extender that finishes with a white Murano glass bead. I love the necklace. Unfortunately, the chain broke the second time I wore it. The chain just fell off my neck when I was sitting at the table I've called to have it replaced and was told a return label would be emailed but I haven't gotten the label. I will call a second time

We had a foreign exchange student here from Italy that graduated with the seniors at her school. I wanted to give her something special. When I seen this I knew it was perfect.
