Clean Ranch Life Romance
Another Sisters of the Rockies novel ~ perfect if you like a good, old, classic historical romance. As the search continues for White Horse’s mother and the Collins sisters settle into ranch life, the spotlight shifts to Lorelei, the animal-loving sister. 🩷 Goodness, I never thought a baby white buffalo would steal my heart, but he did! This poor, motherless calf causes quite a stir and even puts Lorelei and her family in danger. How convenient that there’s a new trading post nearby, owned and operated by a single, nice guy who’s more than willing to help out. 𝑰𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒃𝒐𝒐𝒌: 1830s Future Wyoming Ranch life Native Americans Sweet romance (kissing only) Budding faith Rare animal Sisters Defense of property & loved ones I wouldn’t have what it takes to live out in the wilderness, but it’s always fun to read about characters who do. I received a complimentary paperback from the publisher. All opinions are my own.

1830s Rocky Mountain Adventure
This is book 2 in the sisters of the Rockies series but it can be read as a standalone. Book one was Juniper’s story and this one is Lorelei’s story. Set in the 1830s, it is still a “wild” undeveloped country and the Rockies is home to Indians as well as trappers. Lorelei has a tender side for any animal so when she comes upon a baby buffalo that has just had the mother killed, she takes action. This baby is a rare white albino that is revered by the Indians and sought by the white man. When the farm becomes too dangerous for Lorelei and her rare white buffalo, she seeks shelter with the owner of the trading post, Tanner Mason. Has she unknowingly brought danger to Tanner as well as herself? Whenever I see a book authored by Misty Beller, I know it is one that I must read. She is a great storyteller and brings the characters and their surroundings to life. I highly recommend. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher through Celebrate Lit but was not required to write a review.

Wonderful Sequel to Sisters of the Rockies Series!
This was a beautiful second installment in the “Sisters of the Rockies” Series! This group of strong, courageous and spunky women -the Collins sisters- are becoming very dear to me! The first book was Juniper’s story. This is Lorelei’s. There are still two more, Rosie and Faith. I love the strong bond they share and how they always have each other’s backs. Lorelei Collins has a soft spot in her heart for animals, especially those in need. So, when she finds a white buffalo calf bawling beside his dead mother, she immediately decides to take it home to the ranch she and her sisters are building with so much effort in the Rocky Mountains wilderness. She doesn’t realize that the white buffalo are quite unique and considered sacred to the Native Americans, which makes it very valuable to them and trappers at the same time. Soon, men are arriving at their ranch to see the calf, some wanting to woo Lorelei into marriage, others trying to steal it outright. When dangerous things start to happen, Lorelei reaches out to her new neighbor, still not truly sure if she should trust him. Tanner, who has just arrived and built the new trading post is looking toward making a profitable business and needs no distraction, but his kind heart makes him feel very protective of the women that live nearby and need every day of the milk his cow provides to nurture their new calf. So when Lorelei proposes to move to his post, along with the calf, and their most trusted Blackfoot friend to keep everything proper, to take away the men from the ranch, he accepts, but little does he know the danger it will bring to both him and Lorelei. Will he be able to protect her? And should he also protect his vulnerable heart from her charms or is it just too late? As I said, totally I loved Lorelei’s story! She and Tanner made the perfect match. Lorelei has a huge heart, not only for animals, and I think I also related to her because I love animals too, well at least my pets. Lorelei is straightforward and I loved the spunk she had. Even if she was scared, she wasn’t afraid to confront the men that threatened her calf and her family. I also liked how she lived her faith and prayed naturally, and also inspired Tanner to get closer to the Lord. Tanner was a wonderful hero. He had his insecurities, due to his past relationship with his father, but he was very capable and wasn’t afraid to take his own risks. He was very kind hearted and compassionate and I loved his protectiveness of the Collins sisters, particularly Lorelei. Their romance was sweet and endearing, it made me sigh. Another thing I loved was the secondary characters: the Collins sisters, Riley, White Horse. They all felt like family and I can’t wait to read Rosie and Faith’s stories soon! Although this book can be read as a standalone, I recommend to read it in order: you get to know better the Collins sisters, how they started the ranch, their quirks and personalities. All in all, a wonderful story that I highly recommend! I received a copy of the book from the Publisher but wasn’t required to post a positive review. This is my honest and unbiased opinion.

Fantastic characters- especially the buffalo calf!!
his is a fantastic book! The story is so unique and fascinating! There are some harrowing circumstances that take place. There's sadness and love! The imagery in the book brings the frontier mountains to life! Misty does such a wonderful job with her descriptions of her characters and the setting! I liked the familiar characters - the sisters: Rosemary, Faith, Juniper, and Lorelai. They are strong women who run their ranch and support each other. Lorelai's love for animals is apparent. She has a healing touch, too. Tanner is wonderful! He's someone who struggles with self-worth. He's a protector, strong and compassionate! Honorable mention to the buffalo calf! I love him! He's so sweet and perfect! The love story is very sweet! Tanner likes making Lorelai feel appreciated and loved. My favorite parts involve the mentioning of God! His faithfulness, His love, and how He cares for all creatures great and small! I can't wait to read the next book! I know it's going to be wonderful!! I was provided a copy of the book from Bethany House through Interviews and Reviews. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Loved
I LOVED Tanner and Lorelei’s story! What a fantastic contribution to the Sisters of the Rockies series! The romance to angst/adventure ratio was perfect. Throw in several sweet animals, including a particularly adorable white buffalo calf, and I was a goner! I was a big fan of Tanner’s determined attitude and Lorelei’s loving and caring personality. These two were a couple to root for, for sure. I could definitely see a few sequels shaping up in this book and it’s got me excited to see how the last two sisters’ stories will turn out! Mrs. Beller has proven, once again, to be a talented author that I just keep coming back to again and again for more!

Historical Adventure
I totally went back in time with this book. The writing was so engaging that putting the book down was a difficult thing to do. The characters were real and unique. The storyline was new and fresh and original. The setting was rugged yet beautiful to visualize. It was so enjoyable that I highly recommend it to you. I can't wait for what the author will write next. I don't want to miss any of her books. This book had lots of unexpected events. And it blends in well with the first book of the series. This rugged period had so much to deal with and so different than today's life, that it was fascinating to see what things occurred to those forging a new life in a wild and untamed land. I can't wait for book 3! I received a copy of this book from the publisher. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Inspiring Storytelling
I love that this author is a gifted storyteller, like sitting on the back porch listening to a relative telling a captivating story that has you engrossed. This is book two in the Sisters of the Rockies series. I was thrilled to read more of the Collins sisters and see what they have been up to. I love the characters and imagery that pulls me into the book. It’s like taking a step back in time to 1813 and living in the wilderness of the future state of Wyoming. Lorelei is a tender, caring person who loves animals so it’s only natural for her to take a white buffalo calf to care for not realizing at first all the adventures that will ensue trying to protect it. Tanner is the perfect hero for her and I love the sparks that fly between them. I love the character of White Horse and the storyline of trying to find his mother that continues from book one. This is a wonderful story that was inspiring and heartfelt. I can’t wait for book three and highly recommend this series. I received a complimentary copy from the author/publisher. The honest review and opinions are my own and were not required.

Ongoing adventures
God hasn’t rejected you. You are good enough exactly the way He made you. Better than good enough - you’re perfect. Exactly the way He wants you. Spring River Valley in the spring of 1838 finds the Collins sisters well established on their horse farm. Lorelei is particularly good with animals and happens on a white buffalo calf whose mother has just been killed. Along with the little creature comes a whole host of interesting and dangerous occurrences. Tanner Mason owns the local trading post and the only cow with milk for the calf. As one who has been rejected by those closest to him, he struggles with self worth. Can he leave his past behind and become the man God made him to be? An early copy was received through Bethany House Publishers, Baker Publishing Group and NetGalley. These thoughts are my own and were in no way solicited.
