To be 100% honest, if this was something I purchased, I would return it. While the gold-tone finish and iridescent amber glass shade add a certain aesthetic appeal, it falls short in terms of overall quality. The jute cord cover, though a nice touch, doesn’t feel like high quality and the construction feels somewhat flimsy. The adjustable hanging height is a useful feature, but the instructions provided are not great, making the installation process challenging. I'm sorry to say that I didn't really like this light - the quality nor the look.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lamp has a very particular aesthetic, and I don't feel it would fit into most decorating styles. With a jute rope hanger and a wood socket/glass shade fitting it is very rustic - but not in a good way. I could perhaps see it in a tiki bar setting, but otherwise don't see it being appropriate for most decorating styles.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The design of this would be suitable for a farmhouse style home, it's very rustic looking. The material is solid, no loose frayed ends or cracks or chips in the glass, and overall is a quality piece. You pick your own bulb for it, so you can go as amber light or white light as you would like, though any colored light will have a amber glass hue due to the housing. It was fairly easy to install, as long as you have access to the ceiling and some common electrical knowledge.
