Petal and Pup Ricki Velvet Maxi Dress - Midnight XS

I love this dress! The flowy sleeves are so flattering and gives this dress such a beautiful feminine silhouette. I love how it still hugs the rest of your body and gives a beautiful balance. Beautiful color.

First, just let me say the dress is a beautiful color and well made. The problem is the length. It is midi at best, even if it’s described as a maxi. I’m not extremely tall, just 5’8”, and this dress hit me mid calf, which changes the whole aesthetic. I even sized up to a large to account for bust draping, given the deep v. I hope the return process is simple. I’m very disappointed because it really is a lovely color and material.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s beautiful but the slit is way to high. Only reason I can wear it is because I’m going to vegas but would return if I wasn’t. I still feel a little uncomfortable how close it is to the rear.

This dress was stunning, from the color, to the material, and length. I received so many compliments. I was so comfortable all night too!

I took a chance and ordered on Black Friday. I usually like to try things on especially formal wear. Needless to say, the colors are deep and the fabric is soft. Great dress.
