Restored Aqua Joe AJ-IS6WB Indestructible Series Metal Impulse Sprinkler w/Wheeled 6-Inch Base Refurbished

My son purchased the Aquajoe AJ-IS6WB. I borrowed it to water a newly planted area of my lawn. The area required limiting both distance and arc of the circle to be watered. I set the friction collars for the start and stop points I required. When I returned to check on the watering session, the collars were both moved out of the set range and went from (approx) 120 degrees to 200. I found no way to adjust the tightness of the collars and must now constantly check the watering cycle finding that the collars move almost immediately out of their settings. Save your money on this one.

It is a good, economical impulse sprinkler. I only find two faults. The tiny water "path" (see underneath), through the unit, limits the radius spinkled...it limits the water pressure. And the adjustable bands that control the radius easily slip out of position, usually making the radius wider, i.e., street, neighbor, etc.

This was just what I wanted. Easy to setup with great area coverage.

It's got a nice weight to it so it stays in place and it has better coverage than so many lesser quality sprinklers that claim high coverage. I don't have great water pressure but this covers a twice the area as my old sprinkler. My biggest pet peeve with this is in setting it up. It has a lot of costomizable options but the parts aren't labeled and the user manual is vague. "Use the deflector shield to adjust the length of the spray." It takes a few minutes to figure out which part is the deflector shield and it would be immensely helpful if it said to raise it for a shorter spray, or lower it for a longer spray but this is something you have to figure out through trial and error. Likewise with the spray positions, it would be so much easier if it just said that a clockwise turn makes it narrower or wider, etc. But once you go through the trial and error and get it dialed into your needs, it's really an excellent product. I would give it 2 stars for instructions/set up and 5 stars for performance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I spend a lot of time perfecting my lawn. This sprinkler makes watering my lawn so much easier. I highly recommend this sprinkler to anyone that either doesnt have in ground irrigation or needs to supplement their irrigation. Very easy to setup.

This sprinkler has saved me so much time that I needed to buy 2 for my yard. The 360 feature is great and covers a lot of distance. The only con/bad review I would say is that during a water cycle, the sprinkler may fall over. Just add some weight onto it and that issue is fixed. Definitely worth every penny.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sprinkler can do it all! You can completely do anything you want with it. The nozzle allows you to shoot far, or bring it back to just a small spray. The 360 degrees is pretty nice too. I'll have to get one for the backyard too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this 360 sprinkler for 3 weeks and have noticed a huge difference in my grass it’s ability to fully cover my backyard is great, if you need to move it you it does have wheels to make things smoother. The only downside I had was connecting the water hose to the sprinkler at first it was wanting to go in we had to use to elbow grease to get it in but it does work wonderfully!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little thing saved my lawn. I had some brown patches where grass ceased to grown in several areas in my front lawn. After using this for a couple of days, the brown started becoming green. I truly enjoy the fact that you can adjust the spray to concentrate it where you need it. Or if you need it 360 then it's also possible. I would definitely recommend this sprinkler from those trying to water spots where shade is always covering it from the sun. The build quality is legit and not cheap china plastic.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] it a Sprinkler THAT actually Work!it turn and it has a 6 inch wide wheel that made it easy to roll from here to there and what i really love is the Pulsating this feature wet my grass just where it need to get Wet AND this little guy cover at max 1390 sq ft with the Spray Diameter at MAX 42' WOW!! well i have a really big yard and i am looking forward to setting this out and helping out my Texas Lawn,oh and it make a partial to full 360 circle plus it fit most standard garden hose!!weight 1.1 lbs...

You can make it full blast and fast or you can slow it down and make it pace it's self. My kids also loved playing in it even though it's not summer yet! I'm sure they will be getting just as much use as me!
