Remington Gloss Hair Setter Hot Rollers

I’ve been using hot rollers for several decades. These are without a doubt the best! I will say it takes a little getting used to (getting them in and out of the holder) & learning how long to keep them in your hair (depending on how much curl you want). I love that they heat up quickly (my old Remington curlers took over 15 minutes to get hot and they never got hot enough. And the shine they gave my hair after using them was awesome!

Hard to get out of container, leave ridges/clip marks on hair… didn’t really like them,,,

Been wanting it for so many years, AND I FINALLY BOUGHT IT. I JUST LOVE IT. MAKES MY HAIR SO BOUNCY.

They were difficult to remove from the heating element

The review is more for target and less for the actual product. I saw this on the aisle, thought 34.99 (as the sign said) was reasonable and brought it for check out. At checkout it rang up for 49.99. Alerted the sales associate who said she couldn’t leave her register to go verify and she knew for a fact that the item was for $50. I explained that there were multiple of the same product and she continued to argue that the price was correct. Lo and behold, it shows as 34.99 online as well. I will be returning this item just for this highway robbery.

Doesn’t seem to be hot enough. Rollers are hard to get out and put back in.

One of the rollers was broken when I took them out of the box the first time. They are also very hard to get on and off of the heating coil. I am returning them without ever using them. Cheaply made and not worth the money!

These did a good job of adding volume and curl (well, bend) to my fine, stick-straight hair. However, like other reviews have stated- they are difficult to slide off the heating element and can burn your fingers if you aren’t careful. But by far the bigger issue is that the open gap in the roller and the claw clip holder leave ridiculous ridges across your hair. Not sure how those who loved these were able to avoid this crimping.

Quick and easy

Really not easy to use. The curlers themselves are difficult to remove. The clips created marks in my hair that didn’t brush out. The curls didn’t last more than 5 minutes

I also liked that I didn't have to leave the rollers in for too long. I took a star off because I burned my fingers a few times. I think having a glove to use with this would help avoid touching the hot part of the rollers.

It takes practice to make it look good, but it’s worth it. My main complaint was that the curlers are somewhat difficult to remove from the holder, making it easy to burn yourself.

Works well, roll root 1st 4 lift, and again on hair length. Surprised, it gives shine as stated. Short and heat time and removed early for less curl. Some difficulty sliding curlers off heating element.

Can’t express how much I hate this product. No temperature control (you will burn your fingers), rollers are too small (not great if you have thick hair) and rips out your hair. I did everything right (dry hair, hair mousse, no oils) and concluded that this is a bad product. Better worth spending your money on a product that won’t burn you and actually works. Will be returning.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been wanting some hot curlers for a long time so I was super excited when I got these. You can use them on straight hair to give some nice shape and volume but my favorite way to use it is to curl my hair and then roll the curls up with these rollers so that they set and last all day long. They are super easy to use and the machine warms up quickly. It gave my hair such great volume and made my curls looks super glossy and hold all day.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Remington Gloss H9350US Hair Setter is an excellent set of easy to use curlers. I use heat on my hair everyday. I rotate between hot curlers and a curling iron based on the look I want to achieve. The Remington Gloss Setters are wonderful. There is a bit of a learning curve figuring out how to use them. I practiced while they were cool so I could grab and apply them quickly when half awake in the morning. Once I practiced a few times it was easy. I use the clip to put them on and take them off the heated rods. There are two sizes. I use the larger size on the bottom and the smaller size on top. That gives me the ideal amount of bounce and volume. They gave me uniform curl that was consistent, fast and easy to achieve. My curls lasted all day once I hit them with a bit of gel to define and hairspray to hold. I have already had my sister ask me what I was using on my hair to achieve the new look. I would definitely recommend trying these out if you are looking for Glossier Setters.

I think the set is portable and durable. The curls came out nice and curly although I could use some practice on how to use the rollers.
