Longer than expected

Based on the picture, I was hoping these would be shorter to wear with flats. They are longer and would have the back heel fringe as it rubs on the ground. The material is pretty stiff and not as comfortable and stretchy. I am 5’5 and 170. I bought as size 14 and 12. 14 fits but somewhat tight in stomach with a 42 y/o body with tummy and thigh weight gain. These aren’t awful but isn’t what I was looking for. If you wear with heels or taller than me, these could work.
