The RefrigiWear Extreme Freezer Gloves are made for extreme temperatures and have a bounty of features, including durable, stitched impact pads, wrap-around padding on palm that absorbs shocks, a pre-curved ergonomic fit, and a Kevlar reinforced thumb crotch for increased durability in a heavy use area (like when rolling shrink wrap around pallets). Strategically placed pads at contact points keep hands warm when holding cold items, and 100 grams of Thinsulate and foam insulation plus a soft fleece lining help to keep your hands warm down to -30F.

Quality cold-weather gloves
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 679 extreme cold-weather gloves are remarkable in many ways: comfortable to wear; sized on the smaller, better fitting gloves and well-made. Indeed, the 679’s are matched perfectly for being out-of-doors in 32f-40f conditions. I ride a bike 16 every morning in N. Florida and winters here see early morning temperatures in the high 20’s and low-mid 30’s. I ride between the hours of 0630-0800 and the 679 gloves are [The] best gloves I’ve found to date.

Unbelievably warm!

I searched online and found these and knew they’d be what he needed because years ago he worked a job site in a freezer and had refrigiwear outerwear that kept him toasty. He’s used the gloves now for shoveling snow and was super impressed not only that his hands never cooled down but also that they were flexible enough to comfortably grip the handle!

A+ for extended time in freezer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are amazing. I can now continuously stay in the freezer for the hour I need to put the truck up. No more of this having to come out every 15 minutes or so with painful freezing fingers. I do not have to wear any liners or anything w/ these. They are a bit difficult to maneuver w/ when trying to grab small items. I do manage to be able to get inside the pocket of my Carhartt coat to grab a sharpie. It takes getting used to. However, it's very doable. I've only used them twice now so I can't say much about how they hold up yet. I do know one thing. I will not let these out of my sight. I believe in being comfortable while performing my job and that's the reason I purchased these. They are expensive, yet very worth it. You are worth it. You deserve these gloves. You'll thank yourself the very first time you use them. They are a great investment. I used to dread doing the freezer until I FINALLY found these. I'd bought other expensive gloves before these that obviously didn't work. I'd definitely buy another pair if anything happened to these. On the fit, I did as it stated and measured.

I assume these are mis marked as large and are a medium. Should not have to struggle to put a pair of gloves on. When winter gets here I will see if they keep my hands warm.

Deceptively delicate
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I started a new job in a freezer in January. By the end of February, these gloves were pretty torn up. For as pricey as they are I was hoping they'd be more durable, but multiple fingers on each hand have holes through to the insulation, stitching is coming out in the fingers and palms, and the grip is already worn through. They also do not breathe. After about the first hour they get damp from sweat and then I have to fight through cold hands for a while. Since these gloves are not durable and bad at what they're supposed to do, save yourself some money and buy a better pair of gloves for cheaper.
