They have almost the same ingredients. They're practically the same, but one has Nitrous and one had Nitrous oxide. The Nitrous (oxide) in the cold foam version gives it a fluffier texture that should float on top of your drink, as opposed to swirling through your drink like this reddi whip nitro. Basically it's about preference, whether you want it to float and be a bit more creamy, or swirl through your drink and be more velvety. I hope this helps. I had the same question. I had to do some research. I can find the other at Lowe's foods, and a select couple of other grocery stores, but he easiest way to track it down is to use your insta cart app or Google for location availability. As far as I can tell Walmart, food lion, target don't carry it.

Nitro creamer - false advertising
This stuff sucks don't waste your money. Looks nothing like the picture no matter what you do. Comes out watery and no real amount of foam sits on top. The resulting product looks unappealing and doesn't even taste as good as a regular creamer. Look up video reviews on this product to see what I'm talking about and make sure you're looking at the nitro creamer, not sweet foam. I know the black can and the picture on the can look eye catching but just don't fall for it. You have been warned.

Deceptive Marketing!! This is not the same Nitro!!
Reddi Wip! Why have you changed the formula and texture of this creamer yet left the label the same? This is complexly deceptive marketing. You are essentially lying to the loyal customers who have been enjoying and purchasing this product for years. The damage you are doing to your brand by destroying the trust you have between you and the consumer is irreparable. I suggest you change your labeling and CLEARLY state this is not the same product you have been selling for the past 6 years I loved this product and am so disappointed with this brand.

I’ve had this before from the grocery store, and it is usually a nice little treat to add to a coffee- however. I purchased this yesterday, used it today, and it came out watery and runny- and actually made me throw up- checked the label, and it expired in September?!? C’mon guys!

Reddi Whip original is by far the best dairy whipped topping. The original is my favorite. It has just enough creaminess to not be too overpowering. I put it on a lot of stuff. But I don’t use too much of it. A little squirt on my iced coffee for a nice treat. Maybe at night for a snack I’ll have some blueberries and squirt a little of this. Makes me feel like I’m having some sinful dessert. And this is by far the best on a slice of pumpkin pie!

Awful. Bought my first can of this now rebranded item. The bottle was shaken per the instructions and when adding to my latte it was like half n half coming out. Watery, gross, and went everywhere. This product went about everywhere but the glass as it was all over the counter and floor. Sorry Reddi Whip this is not a cold foam. Seriously thinking of returning this to the store as it’s quite a bit more expensive than other options.
