Q: Am I suppodsed to untie the bow on top to put things inside? And if yes- I am untieing a perfect bow, filling the box, then trying to recreate a bow on top??

A: Yes, unfortunately. The bow's ribbon comes through the bottom and attaches to the top, therefore you cannot open the box without undoing the beautiful bow it comes with originally. You then fill the box and have to watch a million tutorials to recreate the original bow.

I agree with the other reviewers that this box is thick, sturdy, and well made. However, if you will need to tie a bow to secure the lid to the base. I can't wait to use this year after year as I don't plan on using it to give away.

Great box- bug the bow is strapped so you need to untie it to fill it. The bow on top is completely useless.
