Amazing
These are some of the best meatballs I have ever eaten! The texture, the taste! Like why would I make them when I can just buy them? Except I only cooked them until they were hot in the microwave, just the 9 min at 100% did it not the additional 9 min at 50%.

Let me start by saying I absolutely love Rao's sauce along with thier soups and frozen lasagna. The meatballs, not so much. They're chewing and don't have a good flavor. Sadly I ended up throwing them out..

Fennel/anise strong
I'm not sure that the ingredients list is correct. I'm very, very sensitive to fennel and anise. These taste like a black licorice meatball. I would give 0 stars. It's really disappointing because I love the sauces.

This Rao's Brand pre-made meal is one that I usually prefer. too many of the others on the market. The ingredients work together to really give a home style meal and the preparation itself is easy for someone with a very small kitchen. the texture of the meat itself is amazing as it had been previously frozen keeping the integrity of the food.

I don’t usually buy meatballs out. I rather make them myself being I’m Italian. But once I read the ingredients I had to try them. Surprisingly they were good on Italian bread as a sandwich. I would recommend these meatballs

Super disappointed to see that the new box of meatballs has SOYBEAN OIL. People wanted high quality ingredients, which is what made this brand successful. Go back to the ingredients that made this product successful. Also, your ingredient list on this website does not reflect what you now have on your packaging.

Bummer
I had hoped that because it was Rao’s the meatballs would be excellent. They were not. The taste was like a typical frozen meatball. Disappointing.

I thought the meatballs tasted good. Unfortunately, I was upset that it calls to have it cooked with the plastic film and in the plastic container . We would be consuming microplastic when prepared this way. Please have customers cook in a glass vessel please .

Disappointing portion size.
Flavor was good, but serving size was 4 with six meatballs which was disappointing at 1.5 meatballs per person. The box does not lie, you see six, you get six so do not plan to have enough for a family of four.

Don't waste your money
These used to be some of the best meatballs, frozen or otherwise. I used to buy them once a week, but something has changed. They used to be so tender you could easily cut them with a fork. Now they're like little tennis balls. The flavor is also way different now. They taste like sausage and are way over-seasoned. You might get lucky enough to still find the old version. Check the "best by" date. Anything in June 2025 or before is good, after that they're awful. Just tested one last night(BB:10/2026) and had to throw them away after the first bite. A real shame.
