With its unique Color control, opto-compressor and custom, oversized Jenson transformer, it can function as a straight D.I., as a ultra-clean bass preamp or add some fire-breathing distortion to the signal from guitar amp. In fact, calling the HDI simply a direct box doesn’t begin to cover the creative possibilities ’ll find in the studio for electric and acoustic guitars, bass, synths, electronic keyboards and much more.
