Good Sound, Poor Mounting Brackets
I bought these for my UTV, powered them with a mini amp. Pros - Sound quality is pretty good! I wasn't expecting a lot, but they actually make some satisfying mid-bass. They could definitely benefit from a subwoofer, but I have no place for one. Appearance is good, price was reasonable. Cons - The mounting brackets are absolutely ridiculous! Terrible design, and practically no adjustability, so I had to experiment with various layers of rubber to get it to tighten down securely. And that takes three hands. If not for the mounts, I would have rated 5 stars given the price.

Bracket Too Small for Jeep Roll Cage
Did not fit roll cage mounting bracket were far too small. Do not buy for your jeep won't fit on stock roll bar. Never tested sound quality as they would not work for my application that's why I did not give 1 star

Speaker Mount Bracket Size Issue for Jeep Wrangler
Make sure you know what size bars you are mounting these to. I have a 2000 Jeep Wrangler and had anticipated mounting them to my roll cage in the rear. However, the roll bars are 2. 25 inches in diameter, and the maximum sze bracket they give you for the speakers is a 2 inch. The mounts on the speakers are built specific for the brackets they give you. So you cannot buy an aftermarket one that fits correctly. I called customer service for Pyle and they had no solution available, telling me there were no other size brackets they made for that speaker product. I thought their advertisement was misleading, as the product descriptions says it is for Jeeps.

Decent Speakers, Lacking Bass Response
They are well built. Waterproof and easy to install on my UTV, but they do not deliver any Bass response at medium to loud volume. I expected this when I purchased them. I just didn't expect them to be this weak in the low frequencies. They also distort early when raising the volume. Pyle makes a nice speaker, as is this one, but the small enclosures prevent the speakers from covering all frequencies well. These would probably sound well with a crossover and a sub if you were to send the low end to the sub and keep them out of these speakers.

Easier Installation Tip for 2"""" Roll Bar Speakers
Tip for install - after you bend the rings out to fit around your 2"""" roll bar without scratching, it is very hard to line them up to fit the screw through all 3 holes. If you use a clamp on the two ring holes to bring them closer together, a bit past where you need them (with the pad under to not scratch) then sliding in the screw is muuuch easier. I got rockville speakers and they just straight up did not fit a 2"""" roll bar even though advertised they do. These do. Good speakers.
