worked great for holding our router they didn't have rack mounts.

Good for putting random stuff in a rack. I put a firewall router and Dell Optiplex on it.

Works as expected. Sturdy and the vent holes allow for some air movement.

Perfect rack shelf for my network rack. Ventilation holes provide air flow and allows me to secure smaller pieces to the shelf

Very versatile for a tray I like how you can use it as a cantilever tray. Great design in a simple product.

Simple light, clean and strong

Heavy duty, well made. Lots of slots/holes for mounting equipment using bolts/screws through the shelf. No flexing or bouncing.

More flex than my other shelves. I put a small 2 bay home office nas on it and it flexed enough than things don't sit flat/flush.

Haven't tested putting weight on it yet, but I cannot get all 4 holes to line up with my rack.

It's a shelf and does what a shelf is supposed to do, that is hold things. It's sturdy and well made and I feel it was worth the investment.

Product is alright. Mine arrived damaged, but I was able to mount it with some applied force.

I have other brands that are heavier metal and are more substantial. I'll use this for half rack space applications that are lighter in weight.

Flimsy - setting a NAS on it causes it to sag.

I purchased a shelf for my media studio. It is very sturdy and fits great in my rack. I will be purchasing a couple more!

Feels like good quality but the rack ear arrived bent. Makes it nearly useless to install without tools to put it into shape

Not much to add in addition to what others have said. This is the second rack of this brand I've purchased, and it suits my non-standard need: I reverse the shelf to protrude outwards, in order to provide a space for free-standing audio equipment. That's the good. The bad continues to be the apparent non-standard width of the shelf. . . a fraction of an inch short. Fortunately, I know how to deal with this. And this is probably why there are more than a few of these available for re-sale at a discount price: others have returned because it is frankly a pain to install in some racks. As I said, there are ways to compensate for this shortcoming; it's just a shame that it is necessary to do so. I suppose you get what you pay for, but in this case, what is preventing this company from making a slight adjustment to width?

This shelf did not fit a standard 19"""" rack. The width is about 1/4"""" short of the mounting holes lining up with the holes in the rails. I had a deeper shelf ( 14"""" deep shelf from Affinity ) on this same order and that shelf fits no problem. A 1U power strip from Startech and a 4U blank plate also fit the rack fine, so I know the rack dimensions and the rails are good. I compared center to center dimensions of the mounting holes in the rails of my rack to another and they match. I ordered 2 of these Pyle 10"""" shelves and neither fit. Also on this order was a Pyle rack mount power strip, 2U mount. The width lined up but the vertical mounting hole spacing didn't line up to get all 4 screws in. I can see 1 piece having an issue, but multiple items from the same manufacturer with fit issues will have me wary of buying Pyle rack equipment going forward. All of this is going back and replaced with other manufacturer equipment.
