PURPLE LEAF Louvered Pergola Aluminum Outdoor Hardtop Pergola with Adjustable Retractable Louvre Roof for Deck Garden Backyard

I very much like this product but they have significant manufacturing problems. I bought the 12’ X 16’ Purple Leaf Pergola with Adjustable Retractable Louvre Roof and during the installation process, these are the problems I ran into with their product. - The end of one of the beams was crushed and could not be used. Not a shipping problem, this was a manufacturing problem. They sent me a replacement beam and it had the same problem. - Once I got a beam that worked and kept going with the installation process, I ran into another beam that a bolt hole that you screw a bolt into, the threads were striped and the threads just slipped out and the beam end cap needed to be replaced. They told me that would take 2 to 3 weeks to get a new end cap. - Once I got that beam end cap replaced, and let me tell you, that wasn’t an easily process. I found another beam that had the same bold hole thread problem, I had to get another beam end cap and replace that. - Then, further on in the installation process when I was installing the louvers, I came across an incorrect louver bracket that prevented me from installing one louver. I needed to get a different louver bracket and install it so I could install the last louver. - To top it off, after getting this all done, I used the rod used to open and close the louvers and the hook and the end of the rod, started slipping as you turn the rod, which prevented me from opening or closing the louvers, I could now only do this by hand until I get a new one, which is a pain. As you can see, this is an insane number of problems that I had to deal with. These problems also prevented us from being able to use this product for most of the summer. My recommendation, it you’re looking for a pergola, look at another brand because Purple Leaf obviously have significant manufacturing problems they are dealing with and who know how long it’ll take them to correct these problems.
