Our two purple leaf umbrellas have stood 9 good years of Midwestern winters I’ve left them outdoors all season and own a water base and our other is screwed down into the deck Emily at Purple leaf was following up on a new replacement umbrella we’d ordered in navy I’d noticed that a Canadian rail strike could possibly be delaying our shipment and I’d also chosen a color that was delayed As soon as Emily had discovered our situation she promptly notified us that she and her team at Purple leaf would make sure one was coming very soon! Ten days later we had our color, removed an old cover that was beyond attractive due to our negligence and we now have our colorful navy and grey umbrellas up and soaking in the sunshine! The installation was easy. The umbrella and base work perfect together. We use the umbrella quite often and my wife just keeps saying, 'This umbrella is so great. This is one of the best purchases we've ever made!'. It really is a fantastic umbrella, from the large size and shade coverage it provides, to the heavy-duty base (doesn't even budge in a 50mph wind storm), to the ability to rotate the umbrella around as the sun moves. We could not be happier and wish we knew about your company and product sooner.

We ordered the 11' round beige umbrella last spring for our new deck Now, a year later, I am happy to say that the umbrella has held up great The ability to cast a large shadow that we can easily reposition to match the changing position of the sun has been wonderful This lets us sit on our deck comfortably in the shade at any time of day We have paired it with the Purple Leaf 32'x32' square base and have had no issues with tipping, even on breezy days I wouldn't leave it up on a gusty day or in a storm, but a regular breezy day is no problem at all Very happy and considering another one in the future to add more shaded area to our outdoor oasis

We are very satisfied with the appearance, ease of setup and (after 3 months) quality of the product. We also got timely assistance from Zoey on a few pre-purchase questions we had about the dimensions of the umbrella. Will definitely recommend this product.

One of the best decisions I have ever made was to put TWO in-ground bases in my new patio! I have an 11' and a 13' cantilevered umbrellas There is no base to get in the way, and the umbrellas have been problemless - no matter the wind or the weather! I treat the fabric with ScotchGuard Water/UV protector once a year and they should be good for a long time! The only problem is - some of the internal bearings on the umbrella bases were NOT stainless or protected They rusted/corroded badly after a couple years I replaced them - they were cheap - but they are INSIDE the base and not very accessable Don't know what problems they may have presented down the road???

So far I’ve just filled it up with water and it seems to be doing just fine Had a couple storms with heavy duty winds and my 11’ round Purple Leaf umbrella has held steady-so far so good

I really did not want to spend the money, but upon receipt of the umbrella I realized what a difference it was from the cheaper junk I had purchased in the past You get what you pay for and the quality in Purple Leaf was apparent from the packaging I am really pleased with the purchase and believe it was money well spent

I purchased the 13 ft umbrella and base June 2021 it looks and works great The umbrella can be put in many positions so it gives shade no matter where the sun shines This year I had an unusual accident where the umbrella material tore I contacted Purple Leafe they responded immediately and replaced the umbrella fabric I would highly recommend this umbrella and the company Purple Leafe
