Breaking up with Puracy
I was completely in love with this Puracy conditioner and then they started to shrink the size of their bottle, so I thought I’d try this refill. Nope. If the original conditioner in the bottle is a deliciously thick mayonnaise-like texture, the conditioner in this refill is the viscosity, and color, of poppy seed salad dressing. It seems like for this refill, they took one of the original bottles and mixed it with water. I’ve had to use three times as much of this refill conditioner compared to the original that came in the bottle to achieve the same level of moisture. Bye bye Puracy. I’m moving on.

Would not buy this again!
My hair HATED this stuff. I was initially attracted to this because we use Puracy detergent and I liked that it’s “clean”. The conditioner truly weighed down my hair and it would get very greasy very fast. I never had an issue before with a dry and flaky scalp and suddenly I had both! It was awful. I tried it for about 3 months thinking that my hair and scalp would adjust, but I tried a sample of another clean conditioner and promptly threw out two almost new bottles of the Puracy after seeing how good my hair felt again with the other stuff.

Worst Conditioner Ever
It smells like swamp water. The smell is so bad that it's embarrassing & my hairdresser even told me to use it on my dog if I didn't want the product to go to waste. I was mortified. What's worse is that the product is awful and doesn't condition the hair like any other product. Cheap drugstore products are better. After the shower, you will air dry as a frizzy, smelly mess.

Horrible smell
The one positive thing I can say about this conditioner is it doesn’t weigh your hair down. It’s very light and doesn’t condition much at all. But overall the smell is what sets it apart, it smells like WET DOG straight out of the bottle.

Woah this smells. And the smell lingered in our hair. Oddly, my first thought was cat pee smell. I read reviews after I noticed it and others were noting a mildew smell. That’s probably more accurate lol. Bad, going to try and return this and the matching shampoo as it’s not exactly cheap.

Not very moisturizing
I do agree with the other reviews that state that this product smells like feet… however, it smells like that in the bottle, but true citrus & mint when it’s actually out of the bottle. That said… the effectiveness of this conditioner that leaves a lot to be desired. I did do the two weeks (and then some) using only this product as the bottle recommends, and my hair was just a dry, frizzy mess. I have fine to medium straight hair.

Smells like spoiled milk
Maybe I received a bad batch, but this smelled somewhere between bad body odor and spoiled milk. I tried mixing it with other conditioners with a better smell so I wouldn’t have wasted money, but my husband commented that my hair smelled like sour mildest laundry lately. Uggghhhhhh!

I’m sad that this smells so bad. It’s true it really does stink! The mint and the citrus is such an odd mixture it smells like B.O. usually piracy hits the mail on the head but this one REALLY misses the mark. It conditions great just really smells.

Bad lot? Smells terrible
I’m not sure if I got a bad lot of this stuff but it smells absolutely awful — rancid even. It’s totally unusable. The conditioner is actually lightweight and seems up my alley (I like their dishwashing detergent) but I can’t get past the terrible smell. If you can, go to the store and smell it before buying. Bleh.

This is a stinky conditioner!
It smells so bad. It’s simply awful and off putting. It makes my hair stink. I thought maybe when it dried at least it would be better. But, I think I just got used it. My husband felt bad and asked why my hair smelled. Don’t feel bad, it’s the conditioner! I’ll be taking it back and the shampoo, because I like have the shampoo and conditioner match. Could have been a great product. I liked how my hair looked and felt, just not worth stinking over it.
