Description

Book Synopsis

About the Author

Dolores Brown thinks that society speaks too often of the "perfect" princess, when in reality, few women actually resemble that traditional idea. Instead, Dolores tries to change the concept in order to make other princesses --the truly brave princesses-- relevant to the world.

Luis Amavisca is a well-known visual artist and children´s writer in Spain. He has worked and written about equality, solidarity, environment and non-violence. His Bang Bang I Hurt the Moon was runner-up for the Most Inspirational Children's Picture Book in the International Latino Book Awards.
He is the author, along with Alicia Acosta, of two highly successful co-education books: I Love My Colorful Nails and Benji's Doll.

Sonja Wimmer loves painting pictures and telling stories. After studying and working some years as a graphic designer in her hometown of Munich, and Brussels, she decided to pack her suitcase and move to Barcelona to study Illustration at the "Llotja" Arts and Crafts School. Since then she lives between brushes and all kinds of wonderful tales, working as freelance illustrator around the world. Over the last years various of her books have been awarded in the United States. The Journey of The Captain Scaredy Cat was her first book with NubeOcho Ediciones. Her book Bogo, the Fox Who Wanted Everything was a Junior Library Guild Selection.
