I cooked it in the crockpot and used it to make homemade food for my dogs, then used the bones afterward to make a rich broth. DON'T DO IT! This is the worst turkey you could ever buy. I've cooked turkey the same way for years and something is off with this turkey. My method NEVER fails. Trust me, stick with Butterball.

Chewy tough meat
This turkey, once fully cooked, was chewy and stringy. I’ve made many turkeys before and none have had the outcome such as this. A family member who also purchased around the same time also complained of this. I don’t keep where these birds came from or what they were fed for market, but I’m highly disappointed in the quality.

Turkey was advertised as 79 cents a pound and it was marked 99 cents a pound. Only I didn't noticed it until I got home. So I was charged somewhat more for the turkey. 🤷🏻♀️

Great choice for a great price
The price is the cheapest you’ll find. The flavoring was great! My parents told me it was a waste of money because it wasn’t butterball, but after they tried it, they were completely shocked on delicious it was, especially because of the price.

Juicy & fresh tasting
At first, I was hesitant to try this brand for a turkey because I am usually one who buys butterball I purchased this turkey along with five turkey breasts. I could not have been happier. It is the most juicy succulent meat that you will ever taste. I put it on 350 and let it roast for 6 to 7 hours depending on your size. I just melted butter and poured it over the top the turkey breast also come with gravy you could not get any better for $.79 a pound. It was over-the-top delicious. I don't give it five stars I give it 100.
