This lovely mid-century style lamp is a wonderful decorative and utilitarian piece. It's heavy enough to stand on carpeting but not too heavy to carry upstairs. Use the recommended 150 bulb wattage as the shade damps the light a bit. The foot switch is a nice feature.

Love the style but the “bronze metal” color actually looks like a deep purple next to anything black. For the price, this was a bummer. It can be spray painted (but would be nice if it just looked as advertised). The online photos don’t reflect the true color of the base on this lamp.

This is an unusual and lovely floor lamp that provides a soft and inviting light to the room. It matches two table lamps that I have in the same room. Both with the same black teardrop base. The directions are not great - but if you are petient you can align it easily and it is straight and elegant.

I am utterly impressed with this purchase from Target. The Possini Floor lamp is beautiful and of high quality. The 12" tubular LED bulb (purchased separately) enhances the look and functionality. I am happy.

Packaging is messy with milions of tiny styrofoam particles flying around my home and sticking to the lamp, including the inside of the shade with is hard to reach because my arms are of normal length. The lamp itself is just as advertised. I like it; looks great in my home. There is a small flaw on the based which I am unable to wipe out or buff out, so have hidden that side to the back of the room. I am using a remote switch which is working well.

This lamp is unique and striking. Love it!

The lamp is conceptually beautiful, modern and contemporary, but has few defects. The first one being a shaky shade. Since it’s a long shade it keeps tilling to a side and you have to keep fixing that. Secondly, the shaft joins the base at a point which should be neat and seamless. Rather, the shaft circumference is bigger and it jets out of the base. Thirdly, the base came with a few big scratches.

Beware buying this particular lamp. The first one arrived badly packed so that it crushed. It looked like someone had returned it before; though dents in the shade matched the dents in the flimsy box, the base was dented in a protected area that looked to have been boxed up already dented. Second try the base was fine but the shade was again crushed. At the third try I gave up and just made my own shade so as to have a lamp to use! Lamps Plus was wonderful about providing return labels, promptly sending replacements, etc. Good customer service on their end. The fault lies with whoever is in charge of packing.
