If you are planning on using these next to a bed headboard, we'd suggest pairing them with a plug in dimmer cord. That way you can easily brighten or dim the lights for reading or TV watching.     I purchased 2 of these Sconce lamps and was very pleased to see how well they are made. The shade is made of cloth with a strong and sturdy metal frame.
