Very Handsome Drop Lights for the Kitchen

Vertical rods cannot be cut shorter

The 3 pendant lights look wonderful, and were easy to install by the electrician on our sloped kitchen ceiling. However, the rods are only threaded about 1" from each end, which means you cannot cut them to a shorter length as you would lose the threads. The Electrician tells me that many rods are threaded the entire length of the rod. Therefore, we're having difficulty hanging all three to the same height. Kind of frustrating as we don't like the look of staggered heights. I'm wondering if the manufacturer offers threaded rods?
