Highly recommend

Colors are exactly as shown and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the piece. Drawers are smooth and piece is sturdy. I am very happy with this purchase

Great product! Attractive

Directions were good- followed exactly and everything went smoothly. Sturdy, well made, holds a ton of files only one drawer can open at a time which makes it safe. Had to call customer service for a couple replacement parts due to a slightly damaged box- Deb in CS was Awesome!

Very frustrating build

product built without much issue until it came time to load the drawers. would only go in half way b4 being stopped. Went over all assembly, all was correct. Can't figure out why! stuck with this now!

This lateral file cabinet is a quality product.

I am using the cabinet as a printer stand and for filing documents. The finish, wood &metal base are solid and sturdy materials. Directions are easy to follow. Drawer insertion can be hard w1 person.

Very well built nice file cabinets

we bought three of these and they are so nice and well built we are thrilled. Fairly easy to put together if you move slowly and make sure u follow directions exactly (two us can build one in like an hour and 15 minutes start to finish). Also one of the three file cabinets came with some broken plastic file separators (all other parts were perfect) and we called and they shipped out replacements immediately and we had parts in like 4 days! impressive customer service especially in todays world. will buy from Sauder again in the future for products solely based on the quality of the product AND the unreal customer Service!

Great quality & great customer service

As others have mentioned, this is not an easy or quick assembly. However it is worth the effort- its a lovely and useful piece of furniture!! We did initially receive a damaged board but that was rectified by contacting customer service who sent out a new one right away. Very pleased!!
