Worked OK for a few days, but then the adhesive failed, and the PopSocket fell off my phone, dropping the phone to the ground. I heard they recently changed the adhesive formula, so maybe that's it? Anyway, I like the comfort of the grip being soft, but with an unreliable adhesive, I can't recommend this since attaching the grip to the phone is the #1 most important priority for this to even be usable. I tried switching to another ring grip brand, and its adhesive is already lasting longer (over a week now). I'd suggest to PopSocket to put more resources into a reliable adhesive.

It's like 2 or 3 mm shorter than my base black model which may not sound like much but it males all the difference when trying to use my popsoclet as a stand

Some problems
I originally loved my popsockets and I still do! However with the new gel, it makes it incredibly hard to remove and reposition. Before I had no problems removing, re-sticking, and repositioning, but now I can't do that easily. There is a ton of residue that gets left behind and the gel gets messed up I can't restick it. This has happened a few times and it's very frustrating

Its a super cute design and looks adorable, but what drives me crazy is that this popsocket is CONSTANTLY falling off. Alot of times it comes off and i wont notice its gone until minutes later, then I have to retrace my steps and look all around on the ground for it and pray that no1 took it. I never had this problem with my other popsockets. Having to constantly do scavenger hunts for something that I payed alot of money for (alot of money for a popsocket i mean) is really frustrating. I know one day it's going to pop off and i wont realize until it's too late.

It’s cute but it came messed up
It came with black stuff smeared on it. I got some of it off but there’s still some on it. Bulbasaur is my favorite Pokémon so I’m still gonna use it but I’m just really disappointed.

I love how adorable this pop socket is, but it is one of the faultiest ones I have purchased. It just doesn’t fit snugly into the backing and frequently falls off. Bought two and both are the same. Sad cuz it was my favorite design, but won’t be purchasing this one again

I had my pop socket for about a year. My partner got it for me for Christmas. I just switched phones and the metal piece completely fell off of the squishy bit. Debating ordering a new one bc I loved it so much

Waste of Money
My son was very excited for this. It would not detach to swap. I kept turning 90 degrees how I've done with past popsockets and In trying to swap the cover came off the interchangeable part. I don't think this is a swappable top as advertised.

Hi there, thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Please note that all our PopGrips are swappable. To be able to remove a top you may need to stick the PopGrip to a surface to do it as is more difficult to do it when is not stuck to something.

Broken base
Shortly after purchase, part of the base holding the decorative popsocket in place broke. Half of the small ring snapped off, so I am unable to use the popsocket. It is only slightly attached by one edge, no matter how I try to twist the popsocket on. Unusable right now.

Would give it a 5 but….
I’m only giving this a 4 because it could fall apart if it just happens to get yanked hard enough because it is so flimsy. I wish it was the plastic or resin or whatever is used for the other ones. On the other hand, I love it because it glows in the dark and it’s a Mickey pumpkin.
