About the Author

Vivian Kirkfield is a children's picture book author and a former kindergarten teacher and early childhood educator. She is the author of fiction and nonfiction picture books including From Here to There: Inventions That Changed the Way the World Moves and Pippa's Passover Plate, a companion to this book. A passionate advocate for children and reading, she created the popular blog Picture Books Help Kids Soar. She lives in New Hampshire.
