Pimpernel Placements not as good as in the past.
These placemats smelled like chemicals when taken out of the wrapping. They were also not lying flat. The smell went away after a few days. They mostly lie flat now, but still not perfect. I had a set of Pimpernel placemats for almost 20 years that I did not have this issue with.
