USED to be so good!
I used to LOVE thes! It is very difficult to find sugar cookies that are not hard as bricks (and taste like them). These cookies used to fit the bill. But in recent months, they have a vvery unpleasant ftertaste to them.....metallic. I thought perhaps I got a bad batch of dough, but it happened twice more. The cookies also get hard within 2 minutes of baking. I won't buy these again.

When I tried a little bit raw it tasted normal but after I baked them they tasted like you added garlic seasoning and confused sugar with salt . This rambunctious taste is currently lingering in my mouth. I was really looking forward to these cookies but after seeing the price I figured why they tasted like this.

I’m confused as to how the same exact brand and product as rounds vs as a tube of dough could have different allergen information. The rounds that are pre-cut say “may contain peanut and macadamia ingredients” on the packaging… but now looking online the tube version of prepared dough doesn’t have that same warning. How could it be different? Is it made in a different facility?

Our products are labeled for the top 9 allergens (peanuts, tree nuts [almonds, Brazil nuts, cashews, coconut, filberts/hazelnuts, macadamia, pecans, pistachios, pine nuts, and walnuts], milk/dairy, eggs, sesame, soy, wheat, crustaceans, and fish), plus mollusks. ‘CONTAINS’ means that the allergen(s) is included in the product’s recipe. The allergen(s) will be listed in the ingredient list and also in the CONTAINS statement just below the ingredient list. ‘MAY CONTAIN’ means that the allergen(s) is not in the product’s recipe but could be present as result of the manufacturing process, regardless of our best efforts to exclude it. If there is potential of carryover of material that could elicit an allergic response, the allergen of concern will be listed in bold in the “May Contains” statement just below the list of ingredients. If I could give these a zero star rating, I would. I was making fun of my sister for messing up her batch when I decided to buy a roll to "show her how it's done." I cut the cookies as instructed and a few thicker ans thinner so I could test what she might have done wrong. Turns out she did everything correct down to putting the cookies on her silicone mats. It's almost as if the dough doesn't have enough flour in it to help it hold its shape better because when we took our cookies out of the ovens (hers electric, mine gas) we ended up with one giant, waffer thin cookie. Not impressed. Other brands are better for a quick cookie when in a pinch.

I bought a food slicer back in the summer so I used it to cut even slices 1/2” thick ( -) haha... But half way though I decided to cut the dough lengthwise! so the remaining cookies are 2” X 6”!! Haven’t baked them yet... Should be funny!!
