To mount the PhoenixM2 Non-WiFi cameras to your house, you will primarily use a wall-mount method. Because this system is a "Plug-In" wireless system, the most important part of the mounting process is not just physical placement, but ensuring each camera is near a power outlet. Tips for a Better Installation: Avoid Metal Obstacles: Do not mount the camera directly behind metal gutters or aluminum siding if possible, as these can block the wireless signal back to your monitor. Hide the Cords: To prevent intruders from simply unplugging the camera, use cable clips to tack the power cord tightly against the house, or run the wire through a small hole into the garage or attic. Height: Mount the cameras roughly 8–10 feet high. This is high enough to keep them out of reach of tampered, but low enough to still get clear facial details. Almost a decade of flawless use
I have an 8 yr old version of this system. Still works like day 1. Excellent night vision and daytime is perfect, clear, colorful. 2 way talk or just listen in. Get this set. I'm thinking I will upgrade now

Defender phoenix HD cameras
It is winter here and I’ve only installed one camera in my garage and it is exceptionally great. Night vision is very good and it doesn’t detect cars just people and that is exactly what I wanted.To many false signals from my old cameras. I will be installing my other one at the front of my house when the weather permits me ,but I am very happy with my purchase and the 10 inch screen is great

Works great for tending gosts

I gave a 4 for rating. It’s a great security camera, easy to set up, easy to use. Great picture and recoding. Does not need WiFi but, the only draw back is each antenna needs a power source, big drawback for me. Don’t have WiFi out here...

Great bang for your buck!
Great starter system. Simple to install and use. Upgrades from the original Phoenix system are fantastic. Touch screen monitor allows quicker navigation, larger field of view on the cameras, and the night vision is almost as good as the daytime view. I recommend this system for those not wanting to invest a lot of time and money into home security- great bang for your buck!

Monitor sleep mode
