Delicious and sweet
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upon first bite of these Pepperidge Farm Strawberry Verona cookies I wasn’t a fan. The cookie was a bit dry and I felt it needed more strawberry filling. However after the second bite I started to get the true taste of the cookie. Everything started to blend together perfectly. The cookie was perfect for the amount of strawberry. I even made the mistake of leaving them on my side table where my dog decided to eat the rest of the bag while I was gone. They are definitely human and dog approved.

Perfect but almost perfect
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As my title suggests, I feel this cookie is perfect, but if I had the choice of having more jam in the cookie, that would make it 10000% perfect. It tastes really good. The cookie part is buttery and not too hard and is complimented by the jam well. My only “complaint” is that the cookie to jam ratio is a bit off. It can use a little more jam. A work around to this issue is eating the whole cookie in one bite so you can get the perfect ratio in your mouth.

The cookie itself reminded me of a Girl Scout shortbread cookie — buttery, lightly sweet, and super easy to snack on. I do wish the strawberry flavor were stronger; if the package didn’t say “strawberry,” I honestly wouldn’t have known. The filling is subtle to the point of being hard to detect. Still, the cookies were really good overall and gone quickly— I ate all of them in just 3 sittings!

Doesn't look like the photo on package

I'm glad they don't have artificial colors though! I'm also not impressed with having high fructose corn syrup in them. I wouldn't purchase them. I received them free for this review.

The only thing is that the strawberry jam on them is very thin, and I was expecting them to have more strawberry. The cookies have a nice buttery taste, which i absolutely love, but I do think they need to put more strawberry on them. Other than that, I did enjoy the taste.
