Pepperidge Farm's Deli Swirl bread is the best! What is not the best is that only one store in (20) miles may have it in stock. Please bring this especially good rye bread. It is as if you wish us to go to a competitor in order to obtain it.

Well I could just eat the whole loaf myself. I love this bread, especially toasted with butter or margarine. It's awesome for grilled cheese sandwiches. I had some for my leftover Thanksgiving turkey and stuffing ( heated up of course). I just wish it was a slightly larger loaf, but I'll take what I can. Lol

Best bread for Reuben sandwiches. Good flavor and soft but holds up well.

It didn't get soggy and fall apart You can taste the Rye and pumpernickel together. It's great toasted as well. I will continue to buy it for sure. They only thing I didn't like was the wrapper . The bag inside the bag was a pain to put back inside of until the loaf had gotten smaller.

It came in a 16 ounce bag that was double wrapped for freshness. Growing up in my family we always ate rye and pumpernickel bread. It was a stable in our family. I love it just plain, toasted or made with a sandwich. It is made with enriched wheat flour, whole grain rye flour, barley flour and a little onion and garlic powder. The slices are big and were only 80 calories with only 1 gram of fat. I toasted the bread with cheese or just a little margarine. I would make a sandwich for lunch with the bread. I could have eaten the entire package in a few sittings, it was so good. Pepperidge Farms makes excellent products and this bread is delicious. Eating rye and pumpernickel bread reminds me of my childhood.

I decided to make a grilled sandwich with various meats and cheese. I layered roast beef, pastrami, salami, bacon and sharp cheese. I grilled it like making a grilled cheese sandwich only with the added meat. Kinda like making a panini without the panini machine! It turned out perfectly! The flavors of the rye and pumpernickel came through with every scrumptious bite! It was so delicious and oh so satisfying! I think I'll try avocado toast with an egg on my new favorite bread for breakfast tomorrow! The possibilities for this bread are endless!

Can be used for any kind of sandwich, goes well with egg, tuna salad, grilled cheese, or a Reuben sandwich. Low on calories yet filling. No high fructose corn syrup. Healthy and delicious.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Like a lot of people I avoid a lot of bread because of high carbs, but I realize I need to have a better source, rye is not made up of just white flour so there is a benefit to buying it and its not any more expensive, I'm going to start to add this sparingly to my diet. The bread is packaged very well with inner plastic and the outside plastic bag. I believe this helps keep the bread as soft and fresh as it is. The flavor is really rich. We were able to pair this with a variety of meals such as eggs and a breakfast meal, toasted and buttered with a salad for a light lunch and even used it for an individual meal such as grilled cheese sandwiches. Grilled cheese sandwiches were especially good because the pumpernickel flavor gave the sandwich a bit of flare!

I choose this bread not just for taste but also it’s got no sugar, no fat and very little carb compared to some other breads on the market plus it’s only 60 calories a slice. I am sure it will be delicious for sandwiches too.
