Horrible, insipid, acidic
This is a very light roast, think Starbucks Blonde, not a medium roast. Brewed in normal proportions the coffee is transparent and tasteless, like re-used coffee grounds. Increasing the bean to water ratio makes it way too acidic. The only way to get this drinkable is to blend it 50/50 with a Peets dark roast, and even then the acid level is higher than a dark roast on its own.

Love it!
Absolutely love the flavor of this coffee. Bright, not bitter, not too light. The flavors of milk chocolate, almond butter and pear are a wonderful blend. I normally like dark coffees but this one had me at the first cup!

Not a great taste...
Tastes like watered down burnt coffee. Not full flavored. The quality of the grounds is lacking. Leaves a very unpleasant after taste in your mouth.

Pretty good

My new favorite pick-me-up coffee

The flavor is rich, smooth, and surprisingly bold without being bitter — exactly what I want first thing in the morning. It tastes like something I’d grab from a café, not brew at home. Good everyday coffee

☕️ Roasted and Toasted

I enjoyed the earthy tones I found in the coffee. I also felt like I could taste a chocolatey flavor in the roast. It’s rich and warm. It’s significantly a good base for my lattes or any sweetened, milky coffee drink. I definitely recommend the Peet’s brand.

Disappointingly bland
I found this roast to be disappointingly bland. I use a Chemex / drip daily, and have been very happy with blends such as Brazil & Sumatra, but thought I'd try something different.

Great Flavor, but Adjust the Brew to Your Taste
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave the Peet’s Off the Grid Drip Coffee a 4 out of 5. The flavor was bold and smooth, definitely high quality, but the recommended measurements made it way too strong for me. I had to play around with it to find the right balance. The aroma is rich and inviting, a nice wake-up in the morning. Packaging design is clean and functional, easy to store and reseal. As for the brewing process, it’s pretty simple and straightforward, but just be ready to tweak it based on your taste. If you like strong coffee, this is pretty good and doesn’t leave an acidic aftertaste.

Good taste
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been brewing this in the mornings and it’s pretty decent for a medium roast. It has a smooth flavor with hints of chocolate and a little nuttiness, and there’s a subtle fruity note that makes it feel a bit more interesting than your average grocery store coffee. It’s not too acidic and doesn’t leave a bitter aftertaste, which I appreciate. Worked well in my drip machine and French press. The grind is nice and even. It comes in a small bag so it stays fresh and doesn’t go stale too fast. Not the boldest coffee I’ve had, but definitely easy to drink and good for everyday use. Worth trying if you like mellow coffee with a little flavor twist.
