Big Bang too mild for me.
I am normally a fan of Crema Scura and thought I would try Big Bang when it came out. I was disappointed: the characteristic bitterness of espresso was much subdued. My standard double cappuccino tasted too sweet and mild for my taste. So, not for me, but others may well find it more to their taste.

Nice medium roast!

X 2 does the Trick

I used two pods for the strength in latte I wanted , which may not be financially smart, but it did the trick. I added a small spoonful of brown cane sugar to the mug before brewing and it made for the perfect drink. slightly frothed and warmed milk and it was just what I needed.

Good coffee

This one wasn’t as good as the 11 roast in my opinion but my husband likes this one better. Either way it’s still great coffee.

Lives up to it’s name… Big Bang!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to try these espresso pods by Peet’s coffee. I first tried the dark roast and loved it, but the medium roast definitely didn’t disappoint. It’s called Big Bang, and definitely lived up to its name. I wasn’t sure if the medium roast would be better than the dark, but I will say they are both amazing. The flavor profiles in aroma really hit the spot. Since I try this, I found myself using my Nespresso machine more often only continuing to buy these espresso pods. I highly recommend.
