A: Thank you for your question! We recommend washing the insert before first use. Make sure it is completely dried after washing. Any lingering odor may be from the natural protein in the filling, which is normal.

Heavy but comfortable
This duvet is super soft, heavy, and really comfortable—perfect for relaxing, even in warm Arizona. I wasn’t looking for extra warmth, but the weight feels great. Only downside: after washing and drying, it came out pretty staticky. Still love it, just something to keep in mind.

Nice and warm
This is a really lovely duvet, perfect for winter. I like how it is quilted, with each square having its own filling so that they won’t bunch up in the corners or anything. It is cool to the touch but helps keep you very warm.

Got this comforter for collage. I let it sit out of the box without using it for 24 hours like they said, it didn’t get much bigger. I got the all-season one and it could definitely use more stuffing. Overall, it’s a good comforter especially for something like collage. I’m excited to sleep with it for the first time tonight! Beware it does have a slight feather smell as do most feathered products,but nothing unusual. I also really like the feel of it and I feel after a wash it would be good to use without a duvet cover but I did get a cover for it. It feels great with the duvet cover and the loops were nice to have.

I love this blanket - I use it without a cover and it is crisp and clean. I definitely would not call it 'all-season' as it is pretty lightweight from a warmth perspective. To me, the perfect spring/fall blanket - the right weight to feel cozy and the perfect warmth for that season. A little too warm for summer, and not warm enough for Wisconsin winter.

So soft, it’s like sleeping in a cloud
This comforter is so very soft, it’s like sleeping in a cloud. I have 3 dogs that like to lay on my bed, so I was a little leery about getting a white comforter, but so far it’s been easy to keep clean. I throw it in the washer & dryer just like I do all of my other bedding & it comes out looking brand-new.

Lovely comforter!
This Peace Nest All-season Warmth White Goose Down Comforter Duvet Insert with in Full/Queen is so lovely! It's not too thick and it's a nice, soft fabric. It's summer now but this will definitely keep you warm in the winter as it should! I love that it's made with real feathers and down plus it's machine washable and can be dryed in your dryer right at home. No need to take it to a special cleaner. If you live in a cold climate or if you don't like to crank your heat up too much at night, this is the comforter for you.

Wouldn’t use without a cover
This is much thinner and lighter than my other duvet insert. The filling doesn’t seem to be equally distributed but still adds warmth. While the texture is smooth, it’s a little noisy and I wouldn’t use it with out a cover unless I was treating it like a blanket. It’s not as fluffy/filled as in the product photo. It does have straps to be used with a cover which is nice.

Soft & silky
I still need to get a duvet but this is so soft and silky. It is very lightweight but still manages to keep us comfy and warm in the winter. I like how thin it is because I tend to overheat at night but I can see how someone might want a heavier one. Just be mindful of that when purchasing so you are not disappointed

Getting a good night sleep!
I am very pleased with my new quilted down filled cover, it will be able to be used and cool and warmer temperatures, it fits my king size mattress perfectly, I put a duvet cover on it to keep it clean. We get a good night sleep under our new, down filled Blanket.

Great duvet insert.
This is the best duvet insert I have had. It is lightweight, the fabric is soft and comfortable. It keeps me warm without being heavy or overly warm. I like using a duvet because I can change my bedding colors with the seasons.

Nice Lightweight Duvet
This is nice lightweight duvet. It is not a heavy, superwarm, comforter that you would use alone in the depths of winter - rather, it's a nice additional layer or if used alone suitable for chilly, rather than cold, nights. It also lives up to the promise of noiseless fabric, I love that! It also includes corner loops that allow you to use duvet covers of your choice.

Light but warm
This comforter is of the perfect weight - not too warm, but it gives a great weighted feeling on you while you're sleeping. The corners have tabs to help the comforter stay in place inside a duvet cover. I used it preliminarily without a duvet cover. The fabric is smooth and quiet when moving. The care instructions indicate that it's machine washable and dryable, which I appreciate.

So soft and comfy!
I was a little skeptical about this down comforter at first but after using it I am in love. It washed very easily and dried easily as well. It is also very soft on your skin! I am extremely happy with this comforter.
