Recent purchase , cat is getting used to it except the door

I wanted to love this litter box & was super excited for it to arrive but was so disappointed in it when I put it together. The stainless steel box is great, but the entire top piece ruins it because the plastic is so soft and flimsy that my cat’s weight causes it to bow and sag. In turn the bowing and sagging cause the door in the front to pop out of place and in turn make the door useless as well. I know my cat is big (15 lbs) BUT that’s why I bought an extra large litter box, for a big boy! It makes zero sense to me to manufacture a good quality, stainless steel box and then top it with an incredibly thin plastic topper that renders the whole thing useless. There were no reviews to read before I purchased this, so let me be the first to say DO NOT PURCHASE this because essentially what you’re going to end up with is a nice, stainless steel box only with a $60+ price tag. My cat cannot & will not use it so I’ll will be returning this promptly. Wish there had been reviews to read before I bought this :(
