Chris Ferrie books are a staple here!
Chris Ferrie books are a staple in my toddler’s library. One of his first books was Organic Chemistry for Babies by Chris Ferrie (my husband is an organic Chemist and it’s so sweet watching him read that to our son), so we just keep collecting his books. The art in his books is always so fun, and the stories are quick and easy to read. My toddler loves following along and pointing out the pictures (and with this one he says “oh no!” when he points to a sick person in the book 😭). Love these books!

Very underwhelming
It's clear the authors tried to push out something fast when the pandemic started. The words are far too complicated for babies, and it doesn't read very well generally. The art is poor as well: solid white background, and just some random circles with eyes and, occasionally, masks.

Simple short read
Short and simple book explaining what a pandemic is. The book is sturdy for babies little hands and my baby loves the pictures (for reference my LO is 8mo.)

Perfect Explanation for kids (and adults who need to hear it too)
Love this book! It’s the perfect book to explain to a young toddler about this pandemic and the importance of why we stay home. I bought it for my daughter’s birthday as a memory that her 2nd birthday was in the middle of a pandemic
