submitted byToijtyi - 7 months agoA: 10 days. Newborns are changed every 2 to 3 hours. Changing them less frequently can lead to diaper rash which is incredibly painful and difficult to treat. It's best to change your newborn baby every 3 hours at first, no matter what. Obviously, if you hear them half a bowel movement, change them immediately. But the pamper spoilers are great and that they have a line that turns blue. If they're wet. You'll want to check the diaper every 3 hours. Often. Newborns are so sleepy. You'll have to wake them up to feed them. So a typical routine can be turning on the lights, changing the diaper which usually wakes most babies and then offering them food. Every 3 hours. That usually means that two adults need to work in shifts. 6 hours on 6 hours off usually works really well. Or if you have one person going back to work, 12 on 12 off also works well. Changing every 3 hours will ensure that they stay dry and don't get diaper rashes. That means you'll have 8 diapers a day, and that means an 84 pack will last you just over 10 days. You'll need 384 packs a month.

Q: Would these work alright in size 7 for an older child (5 yr old) that is potty trained, but still has accidents at night? Pull-ups seem to irritate his sides (because of the elastic band).

A: Seventh generation makes a version without designs, but they are more beige/ off white since they don't use bleach. Babyganics only has a tiny strip of a design at front waist, and would easily be hidden if rolling diapers for cake. I believe earth's best diapers are also without design. But swaddlers have light coloring design around leg holes and front design and small details on back also.

New Diaper Design Is Thin and Poorly Made
In concert with other recent reviews, Pampers changed their swaddlers diapers that I’ve used for three years and two children this past month. My 8 month old had never fully peed through a diaper until my most recent box of pampers and she has peed through numerous diapers. They are cheap feeling and half the absorbency of prior versions. You are better off buying a discount brand than these.

Very bad taste in delivery of item!
My review is for the delivery of the items that were in a box, and the top part was almost half opened, ripped open. The box was placed on stairs. I clearly have a covered front porch. Why would the driver NOT place the box, which has diapers and formula in it, under cover??? You can see in the picture where she dropped it. Awful delivery of item.I tried to flag her down, because I was just pulling up to my house when she put it on the stair. Extremely disappointed w/this delivery! I would recommend not getting delivered, if this is how the product is delivered.

Sadly they changed/bad quality
I’ve used Pampers swaddlers brand for all my kids. Best diapers IMO but, I recently bought two jumbo boxes and realized the moment I opened the 2nd box that they’ve changed sadly for worse. My 2yr old was previously able to sleep through the night in these and now he wakes up to a puddle/leaky diaper. I will find another brand. Very disappointing! They are extremely soft and do not hold up at all. I’ve noticed the changes throughout the day have increased from 6/8 diaper changes to 12/13.

I’ve been using these diapers for 2 years now. I just recently purchased a new box and saw that the pattern on it was different and when I took the out of the package I immediately noticed a difference in quality. They are much thinner, less absorbent, and they don’t seem to be great for overnights anymore. Very disappointed.

While he usually wears a size 3, these fit him snug and comfortably, which makes sense for his size. The diapers are incredibly soft and very well made. I’ve noticed he can wear one through the night before needing a fresh change, so the absorbency is definitely there. He stays comfortable, and I love that they don’t make that crinkly noise when he moves. They don’t feel or sound cheap at all. The packaging is clean, effective, and very true to the Pampers brand. Overall, these have been a great fit for our family.

They stack nicely, and are super easy to put on because they are nice and stretchy. Around the legs also stretches gently and is a great material that it does not leave any marks. Also does not leave any gaps. The diaper itself is super absorbent, and contains everything that it is supposed to LOL! When done it rolls in on itself beautifully, take the tabs and hold it closed and dispose.
