[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unlike most of the sand sold as "Play Sand" or "Sandbox Sand" which has sand grains too large to stick together and often clogs our child's "sand activated" toys, this sand is much like what one might find on a Florida beach. When it's dry, it flows smoothly through children's "sand activated" toys and when it's sufficiently damp, it can easily be formed into shapes and structures.

Fine grain sand perfect for sandboxes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm having trouble lifting the bag by myself! But I can already tell the sand quality is really nice and smooth. 50lbs for sure. Going to install it in a sandbox for the kids to play. It's the perfect weather for them to spend some time outside building sand castles!

Great all natural play sand choice

I love that palmetto is an all natural sand without any warnings. The sand is so soft and I feel great letting my child play in it without any worries of harmful chemicals. I think it is expensive per bag, but you get what you pay for. It is actually priced about the same as other all natural sand products so it’s a good choice.
