Book Synopsis
Owl Capone-he's got a heart as big as his fedora and he is ready to steal hearts everywhere.
Owl knows the way into people's hearts is through his legendary sandwich wraps and OG secret family sauce served at his restaurant in the Windy Forest. He's practically considered a celebrity! But when he is unexpectedly betrayed by his right-hand man, a sneaky little rat named Gus, Owl is forced to close the doors to his restaurant.
Will Owl be able to win back his customers and reopen his once beloved restaurant?
With an affirming message that encourages readers to view kindness as a strength rather than a weakness, Owl Capone is sure to leave you hungry and wanting more!
About the Author
Christy Ewers has been writing this book her whole life, but she wasn't sure how it would end until a real-life "Gus" mistook her kindness for weakness. When she's not writing, Christy works as an agent for children's book writers and illustrators. She represents some of the kindest, most talented people making books today-including Rob Sayegh Jr.! Christy likes pitbulls, the Red Sox, exclamation points, and big smiles. She lives in Connecticut with her husband, two children, and two dogs. This is her first published book, but certainly not her last. Learn more about Christy on Instagram @christyewers_cat_agency.
Rob Sayegh Jr. is a former toy designer turned author-illustrator of Love Tails and the illustrator of Arlo Draws an Octopus, Cupig, Seth Meyers's New York Times bestseller I'm Not Scared, You're Scared!, and the upcoming Big Rig Pig. When he is not doodling or writing, he enjoys collecting vintage toys, being an official snack taste-tester, and falling in love with every dog he meets. He currently lives in San Francisco, California, with his family. To see more of Rob's work, please visit RobSayArt.com.
