Best quality, practical maternity jeans!
I am so relieved to finally find a pair of maternity jeans that are quality, comfortable and don’t fit like painted on pants! I have tried multiple brands of maternity jeans, and these are by far the best fit in all the right places, quality fabric that doesn’t itch, stretches with me and I can wear all day without becoming uncomfortable. Whoever designed these jeans knows a pregnant woman’s needs. If you’re a mature, practical mom I can’t recommend these Over the belly 80s slim maternity jeans by Ingrid & Isabel enough. Target thank you from the bottom of my heart for stocking maternity clothing (by Ingrid & Isabel) not only online but in your stores. I can’t tell you how frustrating it is to spend 5 months going to multiple different stores and not finding any maternity clothing or anything suitable to wear. When I asked for the maternity section at one big name department store I was told that in their day they just tried to hide being pregnant. That’s not a very practical solution for a working mothers.

Baggy crotch and knees
I tried these in two sizes and settled on the larger of the two to wash and wear due to the fit in the hip. They are of decent quality, but I’m sad to say I found these to be unflattering and ill-fitting, especially compared to the bell-bottomed pair from the same brand (in the smaller size) that I bought just a few weeks earlier. The belly band is snug; I appreciate the support. However, the hip area is still tight despite choosing the larger size while the crotch and knees are super saggy. My husband just shook his head when I first put them on to see how they looked, and the mirror showed me he was right. The material and dye color is that sort of stiff mottled color that makes me think of my dad’s jeans from the 90s. This was a disappointing showing from Isabel for me. Do not recommend.

Wash before wear
Wash these pants inside-out before wearing them! My skin gets more sensitive during pregnancy, and the leftover chemicals from manufacture irritated my skin. It took two washings to get all the residue off. Once they've been properly cleaned, they're comfy and stylish. They fit true to size and will fit all the way through the third trimester.
